Non-governmental organisations, O4 co-working and Olivia Business Centre – together we can do more

Amateur sports clubs, colouring the sky, making it possible for disabled people to work, detracting children’s attention from tablets and mobile phones by organising interesting family workshops, food banks – on November 27 I had an opportunity and honour to conduct workshops for the representatives of these amazing non-governmental organisations concerning cooperation with business. I think that we have inspired one another!

O4 co-working and the whole Olivia Business Centre are places, in which non-governmental organisations and business implement together many specific initiatives. Inspirujące Przykłady Foundation can show young people how interesting and international work they may soon perform. Forum of Mentors regularly spreads the idea of sharing knowledge among big and small entrepreneurs, Girls Geek Carrots meet here and teach and Interizon cluster – thanks to its central office in OBC – can confirm its role in supporting Pomeranian ICT environment.

I have an impression that presenting these and many other examples from the lives of O4, OBC and co-working spaces around the world was both interesting and inspirational for the participants. How do I know it? Because another stage of our meeting was presenting individualised ideas for cooperation. They were individualised for OBC needs, which revolve around promoting resourcefulness, education, supporting talents and families, as well as integrating with a place, in which Olivia Business Centre and O4 operate. The ideas were more than interesting!

Scouts can ACTIVELY take care of children and youth in the afternoons.

Companies and families can integrate while constructing kites.

Amateur sports clubs can help OBC employees and their children spend time in an active way.

Rodzina na Fali Foundation is ready to organise family workshops at our place.

These are just some of the ideas, which emerged on Friday. I believe that our meeting was not only an opportunity for development and education, but also the beginning of future partnerships!

Many thanks to Jerzy Boczoń for invitation!
